Description

Customers requested a moccasin shoe that can be used for Earthing, requiring a durable sole that will last longer than usual. These men's moccasin shoes accomplished just that. Now you can purchase the finest men's soft sole moccasins, which work perfectly for Earthing and provide a barefoot-like feel while allowing you to enjoy the outdoors. We hope you take the time to read our blog featuring these earthing moccasins, "Welcome to Earthing". They have a durable, high-quality, extra-thick, long-lasting oil-tan sole, which is a dark brown colour. They do not have any foam insoles; instead, they have only two layers of leather. The soles become conductive when you walk on the Earth. These men's authentic Native American moccasins are handmade/sewn of genuine moose hide leather in Maple Tan colour.

Please note that you may notice a slight bleeding of the oil on the moose hide. This is entirely natural, as the moose hide will absorb some of the coloration from the oil-tan. These men's soft-soled outdoor moccasins feature rawhide laces for tightening, and the vamp is double-hand-stitched. We carry men's sizes 7-15 and recommend ordering the same size as your regular shoe size. If you wear a half size, order down to the next full size. (10 ½ order size 10)

Moose Hide

*Moose is a wild animal, so therefore incurs wounds and scarring during its lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line. Note: Stitching Change

All the new Bastien moccasins feature a single stitch at the sole. Bastien Industries now uses MEC-Val machines from Italy, which create simple lockstitch seams. This means that even if one stitch breaks, the next stitch is securely tied with a knot, ensuring durability.

The below size chart converts UK, EU and US foot sizes. The cm measurement is to be measured from your heel to your toe. Most of our shoes fit the same as your regular shoe size, however each individual product has information with recommended sizing. Please see individual product page for more detailed sizing recommendations. Please also click on this link for a PDF printout to help you with child sizing. *Be sure to cross-reference this chart with the specific product page size recommendations. (If this chart says you are an 8½, but our product page recommends ordering a size 7 for a US 8½, order accordingly) 

 

 

All returns must have a RA (return authorization) on the label, please contact us first via email and we'll provide a RMA number and the address to return to.

Alternatively you can email us at info@thebrownbear.ca, and state your order number, and what you'd like (refund or exchange). If you have not received an answer within 48 hours, please be sure to check your junk, or promotions folder, in case our response went there. 

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it in its original condition WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE - (NO EXCEPTIONS)*  for an exchange or refund.  DO NOT write or label the box, please wrap it first.

If a refund is required, only the purchase and taxes will be refunded, not the shipping. Please note that the customer pays for return shipping via POSTAL SERVICE. We cannot accept any COD return. Indicate clearly "RETURN FOR EXCHANGE ONLY".

Please note that should a partial return for refund be the case,  which would cause your order to no longer qualify for free shipping, shipping charges will be subtracted from your refund.
