Proudly handmade in the USA by Haipazaza Phezuta, a Native American-owned family business rooted in the traditions of the Lakota and Dakota people of the Great Sioux Nation, this unique čhapȟúŋka napȟéwičhaye / Bug Off Soap Bar combines Indigenous plant knowledge with nourishing, skin-loving ingredients.

Handcrafted in small batches, each bar features a rich blend of goat's milk, Greek yogurt, coconut oil, castor oil, sustainable palm butter, and kaolin clay to cleanse and leave skin gently soft and refreshed. Citronella and mint essential oils provide an invigorating herbal aroma traditionally associated with discouraging pesky insects, making this soap a wonderful addition to your outdoor bathing routine.

Each bar is thoughtfully crafted with care, prayers, and good intentions, offering a meaningful blend of traditional craftsmanship and everyday comfort.

The below size chart converts UK, EU and US foot sizes. The cm measurement is to be measured from your heel to your toe. Most of our shoes fit the same as your regular shoe size, however each individual product has information with recommended sizing. Please see individual product page for more detailed sizing recommendations. Please also click on this link for a PDF printout to help you with child sizing. *Be sure to cross-reference this chart with the specific product page size recommendations. (If this chart says you are an 8½, but our product page recommends ordering a size 7 for a US 8½, order accordingly) 

 

 

 

All returns must have a RA (return authorization) on the label, please contact us first via email and we'll provide a RMA number and the address to return to.

Alternatively you can email us at info@thebrownbear.ca, and state your order number, and what you'd like (refund or exchange). If you have not received an answer within 48 hours, please be sure to check your junk, or promotions folder, in case our response went there. 

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it in its original condition WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE - (NO EXCEPTIONS)*  for an exchange or refund.  DO NOT write or label the box, please wrap it first.

Returns and exchanges with Leather-Moccasins are subject to the following strict conditions:
  • Return Authorization Required: We cannot accept any returns without a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  • Shipping Costs: The customer is always responsible for return shipping fees. We cannot accept COD deliveries. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Exchanges:
    • Domestic: We cover the shipping costs to send the new replacement pair back to you. (Within Canada and the U.S.)
    • International: For overseas orders, the customer must pay the shipping costs for the exchanged package.
  • Refunds: Refunds are only issued after we receive and inspect the merchandise to ensure it complies with our policy.
  • Packaging: All items must be packed in their original packaging, including the shoebox and tags attached. (When applicable)


Please note that should a partial return for refund be the case,  which would cause your order to no longer qualify for free shipping, shipping charges will be subtracted from your refund.

  • Items marked FINAL SALE / FINAL CLEARANCE
  • Face masks
  • Bedding (Sheets, Sleep Pads, Pillowcases)
  • Earthing Headbands and Wristbands
  • Earthing pads, desk mats, mouse pads, yoga mats, socks
  • Silver scarves and cloths
  • Outlet checkers, continuity testers & EMF meters
  • Water bottles

The return tab on the individual product page may specify if an item may not be returned.

Package must not be damaged, written on, or taped.

**BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY DEALS - REFUNDS:
Please note that when a refund is requested on returns made that had Black Friday/Cyber Monday discounts may result in your order not qualifying for those discounts. The amount refunded will reflect which discount category your remaining order qualifies for (or doesn't qualify for).

**CHRISTMAS GIFTS/ORDERS:
Return period is extended for Christmas orders. Please be sure to contact us by January 15 to facilitate returns/exchanges of Christmas gifts.
