Description

In this Level 19 illustrated by Bill Helin's 16-page book (6" x 9"), all the animals are getting ready for a Summer Feast. Some of the animals are having a hard time completing all the work. Owl is famous for helping his friends solve problems. The animals write Owl letters asking for help. Can you predict some of the problems that Owl helps solve? How do you solve problems? This book, Letters to Owl, is part of the Strong Readers: Set B series. Set B is a continuation of Set A. The mixture of fiction and non-fiction books, spanning levels 11 through 20, expands on the lifecycles of frogs, bears, eagles, and ravens.

The Strong Readers books are a guided and levelled reading series packed with science, numeracy, social responsibility, language arts, and oral language teachings. Strong Readers are rich with scaffolded text features and have beautiful illustrations and photographs. The entire series is interconnected and follows the cultural values of frog, bear, eagle and raven throughout.

The below size chart converts UK, EU and US foot sizes. The cm measurement is to be measured from your heel to your toe. Most of our shoes fit the same as your regular shoe size, however each individual product has information with recommended sizing. Please see individual product page for more detailed sizing recommendations. Please also click on this link for a PDF printout to help you with child sizing. *Be sure to cross-reference this chart with the specific product page size recommendations. (If this chart says you are an 8½, but our product page recommends ordering a size 7 for a US 8½, order accordingly) 

 

 

All returns must have a RA (return authorization) on the label, please contact us first via email and we'll provide a RMA number and the address to return to.

Alternatively you can email us at info@thebrownbear.ca, and state your order number, and what you'd like (refund or exchange). If you have not received an answer within 48 hours, please be sure to check your junk, or promotions folder, in case our response went there. 

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it in its original condition WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE - (NO EXCEPTIONS)*  for an exchange or refund.  DO NOT write or label the box, please wrap it first.

If a refund is required, only the purchase and taxes will be refunded, not the shipping. Please note that the customer pays for return shipping via POSTAL SERVICE. We cannot accept any COD return. Indicate clearly "RETURN FOR EXCHANGE ONLY".

Please note that should a partial return for refund be the case,  which would cause your order to no longer qualify for free shipping, shipping charges will be subtracted from your refund.
