Crafted from premium Nubuck cowhide leather, this versatile moccasin is exceptionally soft and supple, molding comfortably to your feet with every wear. The luxurious suede lining provides a smooth, breathable interior, while the cushioned foam insole offers all-day comfort and support.

 

The Modern Moccasin features a sleek, low-profile silhouette with a rich tan leather upper complemented by a soft suede collar and hand stitching around the heel. Traditional rawhide lacing and hand-stitched detailing add subtle character, while the flexible rubber outsole provides reliable traction and durability. Lightweight and easy to wear, this contemporary zero drop moccasin transitions effortlessly from everyday errands to relaxed weekend outings.

 

Available in women's sizes 6–10, the Modern Moccasin fits true to size in length but has a narrow fit. It is best suited to customers with narrow feet and may not be comfortable for those who require a wider fit. If you are unsure about sizing, please contact us and we would be happy to help you find the right fit.

 

This sleek design boasts a berry outsole design created by Métis artist Kaija Heitland. 

While the moccasins are manufactured in Vietnam, the designs are created by Canadian Indigenous artists, who receive full credit and recognition for their work.

The below size chart converts UK, EU and US foot sizes. The cm measurement is to be measured from your heel to your toe. Most of our shoes fit the same as your regular shoe size, however each individual product has information with recommended sizing. Please see individual product page for more detailed sizing recommendations. Please also click on this link for a PDF printout to help you with child sizing. *Be sure to cross-reference this chart with the specific product page size recommendations. (If this chart says you are an 8½, but our product page recommends ordering a size 7 for a US 8½, order accordingly) 

 

 

 

All returns must have a RA (return authorization) on the label, please contact us first via email and we'll provide a RMA number and the address to return to.

Alternatively you can email us at info@thebrownbear.ca, and state your order number, and what you'd like (refund or exchange). If you have not received an answer within 48 hours, please be sure to check your junk, or promotions folder, in case our response went there. 

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it in its original condition WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE - (NO EXCEPTIONS)*  for an exchange or refund.  DO NOT write or label the box, please wrap it first.

If a refund is required, only the purchase and taxes will be refunded, not the shipping. Please note that the customer pays for return shipping via POSTAL SERVICE. We cannot accept any COD return. Indicate clearly "RETURN FOR EXCHANGE ONLY".

Please note that should a partial return for refund be the case,  which would cause your order to no longer qualify for free shipping, shipping charges will be subtracted from your refund.

Please note that when a refund is requested on returns made that had Black Friday/Cyber Monday discounts may result in your order not qualifying for those discounts. The amount refunded will reflect which discount category your remaining order qualifies for (or doesn't qualify for).
